SPIRULINA:
In the targeted indication, the richness in trace elements and mineral salts of spirulina (Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese, Potassium, Selenium, Phosphorus, Copper, Zinc, Sodium, perfectly bioavailable Iron etc.) is precious. As well as that of Vitamins, Enzymes and Pigments.
But it is among these, in the fabulous Phycocyanin, that we will draw the main characteristics related to hepatorenal drainage:
- Powerful antioxidant,
- Natural anti-inflammatory,
- Powerful immune booster,
- Stimulating stem cells,
and especially :
Hepato-protective and even Hepato-regenerative, which makes it a particularly valuable ally both against liver damage itself and against the side effects of certain infectious diseases and/or their therapies. Nephro-protective and nephro-regenerative, also very appreciable for the protection of the very exposed renal functions of equine organisms.
CRANBERRY:
The anthocyanins, pro-anthocyanidins and flavonoids contained in cranberry berries reduce the attachment of germs (such as Escherichia coli) to the walls of the urinary tract. The pathogenic bacteria are then eliminated naturally through the urinary tract.
LESPEDEZA Capitata:
The lespedeza is especially appreciated for its diuretic action. It contains flavonoids, molecules that increase urinary secretion and reduce the level of urea in the blood. This plant is used to treat nephritis (inflammatory kidney disease, a very common condition in horses), lithiasis, functional disorders and/or
occasional renal elimination: uraemia, oliguria (decrease in the volume of urine) often linked to work overload and stress.
It is also a good antioxidant.
HE of CELERY:
The few drops of Celery Essential Oil essentially make the preparation more appetizing for horses.
